Inspiration for the Christmas wrapping

Are your Christmas presents going to stand out from the rest of the presents under the Christmas tree this year? We give you inspiration for this year’s Christmas wrapping with four different looks.

Nordic inspired wrapping

The wrapping with a Nordic theme is based on what you find in the Nordic woods. Here, we have used spruce, spruce cones, string, wrapping paper, a card, and white spray paint.

Start by wrapping the present in the wrapping paper. Tie the string around on one of the sides multiple times. Fasten spruce and a spruce cone between the strings and put the card on as well. Give a small spray of the paint on the decoration part on the wrapping and let it dry.

Graphical inspired wrapping

The wrapping with a graphical theme is based on creating graphical illusions. Here, we have used Christmas bulbs of wood with graphical patterns, thin leather string, wrapping paper, and a card.

Start by wrapping the present in the wrapping paper. Make the Christmas bulbs – see how to make them here. Put the bulbs on the leather string and tie around the present multiple times with the bulbs on the front. Put the card on the present under the leather string.

Winter’s night inspired wrapping

The wrapping with a winter’s nights theme is based on the magical setting from a cold winter’s night. Here, we have used blue silk ribbon, silver snowflakes, wrapping paper, and a card.

Start by wrapping the present in the wrapping paper. Tie the silk ribbon around, as you traditionally tie it on a present. Put the card on. Glue the snowflakes on the present e.g. a bit random in a corner.

Traditional inspired wrapping

The wrapping with a traditional theme is based on capturing the traditional setting from characteristic Christmas materials. Here, we have used spruce, red berries, cinnamon sticks, red and white string, wrapping paper, and a card.

Start by wrapping the present in the wrapping paper. Tie the string around the present multiple times. You can do it in the traditional way or just around one of the sides. Make a small “bouquet” with spruce, red berries, and a cinnamon stick. Place the “bouquet” between the strings together with the card.

We hope you got inspired for this year’s Christmas wrapping. Enjoy!
